BAUISC Spring Trophy 2023 – 1st Stage Tarihi Sultanahmet Köftecisi Sailing Cup Yacht Races is included in the 2023 activity program of the Turkish Sailing Federation (TYF) and is organized by Bahçeşehir University International Sailing Club (BAUISC). This year's trophy will be held on 6 different dates, consisting of 4 stages: 1 April 2023 Buoy, 8-9 April Buoy and Islands, 29 April Buoy, 6-7 May Bosphorus Sailing Cup, and will be organized for Yacht and Sportboat classes.

On Saturday, April 1, 2023, the first leg of the trophy, 26 boats registered for the buoy race: 2 in the IRC0 class, 3 in the IRC1, 9 in the IRC2, 7 in the IRC3, 2 in the IRC4 and 3 in the traveler class. For the 7th time, all boats started at the same time for this trophy, which has been held since 2016, and the boats competed in their own classes. Out of the 2 planned buoy races, 1 race could be organized due to adverse weather conditions and according to the results, the 1st Stage Tarihi Sultanahmet Köftecisi Sailing Cup found its owners.

We launched the Cup with Yacht Races and sponsored ESCAPE Sailing.

As LITHOSAN – ESCAPE Sailing Sailing Team, we completed our first sailing race as the 1st in IRC 3 Class despite the difficult conditions. We will do our best to win the trophy by achieving good results in the remaining 3 stages. We congratulate all the athletes for their effort and sportsmanship.
